2, The Stables is a first floor apartment.  It has a large living room with a log burning stove and a breakfast kitchen.  There are 2 bedrooms with king size beds (which can also be arranged as twins).  The large bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle.

The Stables Apartments have access to the Sunken Garden, as well as the grounds of the Estate including woodland walks, paths along the banks of the river Ledwyche running through the grounds and a tennis court.

HENLEY HALL & THE SURROUNDING AREA

Henley offers a break away from every day life, set in peacful and tranquil park land.  However South Shropshire has many treats in store for those who wish to venture out.

Nestling in the South Shropshire countryside, Ludlow was described by Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England".  It is bursting with beautiful half timbered buildings, cobbled streets and history.  One of the key attractions is the medieval castle perched on the cliff over looking the River Teme, which served as the headquarters of the Council of Wales from 15th to 17th Centuries. Today it is home to medieval fayres and the Ludlow Food Festival.

Food and drink is one of the reasons many visitors come to Ludlow.  In addition to the Spring and Autumn Food Festivals and the many delicatesens, bistros, cafes and restaurants serving local shropshire produce, visitors can enjoy the summer Magnalonga, an 8 mile walk through the Shropshire countryside enjoying food and drink along the way. 

If walking is a passion there are plenty of walks to enjoy from the Bread Walk in town, Mortimer's Forest or the glacial landscape hills of the LongMynd near Church Stretton with residential wild ponies.
